Dr. Shiva Shankar Polavarapu is a diabetologist with over 30 years of experience based in Hyderabad. He is Managing Director of the Hyderabad Diabetes Centre chain. He is also a consultant diabetologist at Sunshine Hospitals and at Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Institute.
Dr. Polavarapu has a post-graduate Diploma in Diabetology from Vuk Vrhovac University Clinic for Diabetes, Zagreb, Croatia. This is a WHO Collaborating Centre for development and control of Diabetes Mellitus. He also completed a certificate course in Diabetology (ACC in Diabetology) from NIMS, Hyderabad.
